First Information Seminar A Success!

On Friday August 25th, 2017, N-Siep conducted its first information seminar from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Party room at Leaside Towers, Toronto, ON. The seminar proved to be a massive success for the young company with 45 people in attendance including children and adults from different areas of Toronto.

The seminar commenced with me (Abdullah Gulab) giving a 20 minute presentation talking about my background, my motivation behind creating the company and details about the company including the services it provides. This was followed by a 7 minute talk by Saud Siddiqui, a mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo who has been using the company’s services since 2016 and achieved successful results through it. The seminar was wrapped up with a short talk by Mr. Hafiz Khan, who serves as the community’s engagement and outreach lead. He talked about his views on the company going forward, the positive message behind the company, the effort required to carry out such a generous task and how he his willing to support such an endeavor.

The seminar had a guest in attendance from Youth Employment Services (YES), an agency that helped me kick-start my company. Refreshments were provided during the seminar and the entire event came to a close at around 7 pm.

This seminar served as a great learning experience for myself and my management of the company. Going forward, I am planning to conduct orientation events in different parts of Toronto so that more and more people are aware of the company and its services. Focused/target marketing is something I consider as part of my marketing objectives and I take great interest in it.
